TERMS & CONDITIONS
Before registering for the HEC Liège Business Game - HLBG, please read the following rules. Notice that by clicking on “Send application”, you accept the Terms and Conditions.
Participation
1. The HEC Liège Business Game is only open to students officially enrolled in a school or a university in their third year of Bachelor, first year of Master or last year of Master (international students included).
2. The number of participants is limited to 100 students (50 teams of 2 students).
3.The participation in the HLBG is subject to online electronic acceptance of the Terms and Conditions and of the documentation concerning the assignment of the intellectual property and image rights.
4. The participation price is 20 euros and 10 euros will be reimbursed if you are well present at the event. This price includes all the food and beverages you will need during the day.
5. The jury’s members will be partners of HEC.
Registration
1. All students have to register and mention the name of his teammate. Students can only be members of one team.
2. It is imperative that every field be completed with valid answers. Incomplete registration forms will not be eligible.
3. The HLBG reserves the right to verify the validity of the information provided by the students at the time of the registration and at any time during the HLBG. If it is necessary the HLBG reserves the right to request copies of the identity cards and/or student cards mentioned by the students.
4. By registering for the HLBG you accept the Terms and Conditions.
5. By registering for the HLBG you accept that your data will be shared with our partners.
6. If a team member decides to leave the team, the team will be disqualified. Only extreme cases will be accepted and the HLBG reserves the right to define an extreme case.
Disqualifications
The HLBG has the right to exclude a team from participating if the team or one of its members does not comply with the Terms and Conditions or acts in an unfair or disruptive way. Confidentiality Challenges proposed by the companies are copyrighted.
Personal information
1. The HLBG reserves the right to share the students’ information with its partners and sponsors.
2. Students can exercise their right of access to amendment or suppression of his personal data (art 17 General Data Protection Regulation).
Miscellaneous
1. The HLBG disclaims any responsibility in case of theft or accident during the HLBG.
2. In extreme cases, the HLBG reserves the right to shorten, modify or cancel the Business Game. In this case, students will be reimbursed from the price they paid but they will not be able to claim any other loss against it.
3. The HLBG content and logo remain the sole property of the HLBG.
4. By registering for HLBG you give the right to the HLBG to take pictures and make aftermovies in which you appear and this is applicable during the HLBG duration and after.
